INTRODUCTION

Welcome! This Privacy Policy explains how Trusted Security Testers (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you provide consent to receive SMS messages to us through the Twilio platform as part of our Trusted Security Testing program.

By sending an SMS to our dedicated number, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Name, Email Address and Mobile phone number. We do not collect any payment information, location data beyond the carrier’s country code, or personal identifiers unless you include them in the SMS.

WHY WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information provided to conduct services that are contracted by your organization and the contract is active.

DATA RETENTION

SMS Content & Metadata: Stored for 90 days after receipt, unless a specific request is made to retain the data for a longer period. You may request deletion earlier.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (e.g., wrong phone number). (“Right to be Forgotten”) Request removal of your data before the standard retention period, unless required for legal purposes.Ask us to limit processing (e.g., stop using your SMS content for analytics). Receive a machine‑readable copy of your data (limited to structured data we store). Object to processing for direct marketing (not applicable) or for legitimate‑interest based activities.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

Encryption in Transit: All SMS traffic passes through Twilio’s TLS‑encrypted APIs.
At‑Rest Encryption: Message data stored on our servers is encrypted using AES‑256.
Access Controls: Only authorized personnel with a need‑to‑know can view the messages; multi‑factor authentication (MFA) is required.
Audit Logging: Every access to SMS content is logged and reviewed regularly.
Retention Controls: Automated scripts purge data after the retention period.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on the same page with an updated “Effective Date”. For material changes, we’ll also send a notification to the email address you provided (if any) or post a banner on our portal.
